Instagram trims blank lines from captions and bios — press Enter twice and the gap disappears when you post. The fix is an invisible character with real width on each 'empty' line, which Instagram keeps because the line isn't actually empty. Generate it with the invisible text generator.

Why Instagram removes your blank lines
Instagram's caption field strips leading and trailing whitespace and collapses runs of blank lines, so paragraph spacing you add in the box vanishes on publish. A line that contains one invisible character isn't blank, so it survives.
How to space a caption
1. Write your caption in the Instagram box or a notes app.
2. On each line where you want a gap, paste one invisible character from the generator — nothing else on that line.
3. Post. The invisible lines hold the spacing.
Doing this in a plain notes app first and pasting the whole caption in once is more reliable than editing inside Instagram.
Blank space in a bio
The bio field trims the same way. Paste an invisible character where you want a break between bio lines. Bios cap at 150 characters and each invisible character counts as one, so use them sparingly.
Where it stops working
Some third-party scheduling tools re-trim captions on their end, undoing the effect. And the invisible character has visible width, so too many in a row create an obvious blank gap rather than a clean line break.
